methodology?
What is the purpose of a links page? Should it be an index of everything I've ever liked on the net, lest I forget? Should it be a short list of places I visit regularly? Should it be sites I admire, but never have time to look at? Should it be overwhelmingly long, a reflection of the length and breadth of the net, the information overload that surrounds us? Should it be concise, a reflection of only the content I find most compelling? Should it offer a random starting point for discovery? Should it offer an ordered list for research into a particular topic?
Who knows?
All I've tried to do is gather the sites I like, the sites I don't want to forget or struggle to remember keywords from when I'm staring into google. I think the list is too long, but then that's because my memory is bad and the net is big. I think the list is too short because there's still so much I haven't explored and so much I don't have time to look at again.
There is no solution, make of it what you will.
